We have added some new sections to our website over the past couple of months. Our resources section now has a storage facility lookup. You can search for facilities by location and get a quote for your storage insurance based on the location you choose. If you chosen location is not shown in our database, you can still send a request to add it. Provided the facility meets our criteria we will be able to offer you insurance.
It seems that spring is now well and truly here and, here in the South West of England at least, the weather appears to be set fair for the next couple of weeks. This means that many of us will be thinking about barbecues, al-fresco meals and, with some movement restrictions still in place, getting out in the garden. If you have stored away your garden furniture and other summer garden items like pools or hot-tubs, now is the time to get it them out of storage so that you can start to use it all again.
Before you rush to your storage unit, it is best to check they are open to domestic customers or that there are no restrictions on opening times or access. Whilst there has been a partial relaxation of rules in terms of the lockdown – there are still restrictions in place and many businesses are likely to be limiting the amount of people who can be on site at one time. If you are taking some of your things out of storage – don’t forget to look at the level of your storage insurance. If you are visiting your storage, do take the opportunity to check over the items which you are continuing to store to make sure there are no signs of mould, mildew or other damage which need to be dealt with.
